Type IIR

Type IIR face masks EN14683 are medical grade face maks made up of 4-ply construction that includes a splash resistant layer to protect against blood and other bodily fluids.

 

≥98% BFE (Bacteria Filtration Efficiency)

BFE measures the filtration efficiency of a mask using viable (live) particles (bacteria) that vary in size from 1 to 5 microns.

 

≥96% PFE (Particle Filtration Efficiency)

PFE measures the filtration efficiency of a mask uisng nonviable (nonliving) particles that are fixed insize from 0.1 micron to 1 micron.
