Product Description:
Tanakan Standardized Ginkgo Biloba Extract (EGb 761) - 40mg is a gastrosoluble coated tablet. Each box contains 90 tablets.
Overview:
Tanakan Standardized Ginkgo Biloba Extract (EGb 761) - 40mg is recommended for adults need to improve their overall blood circulation.
Dosage:
Adult – 1 tablet 3 times a day to be swallowed at mealtime.
Contraindication/Drug interactions:
Tanakan may alter the effect of other drug: anticoagulants (phencoumarone, warfarin), anti-platelet drugs (clopidogrel, salicylic acid and other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs).
In case of concomitant use of this medicinal product with warfarin, monitoring is required, consult your doctor.
Concomitant use of this medication with efavirenz is not recommended due to the potential for decreased efavirenz effect.
Ginkgo can increase the concentration of nifedipine. In some individuals, this increase can be significant and cause dizziness and increased intensity of hot flashes.
This medicine is contraindicated during pregnancy.
There is insufficient reliable data in breastfeeding women.

The use of this drug is not recommended in patients with galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose or galactose malabsorption syndrome (rare hereditary diseases).
Concomitant use of this medication with efavirenz is not recommended.
Talk to your doctor before taking Tanakan 40mg, coated tablet:
If you have a predisposition to bleed (haemorrhagic predisposition) and if you have anticoagulant or anti-platelet therapy
If you suffer from epilepsy
